Why LEP Is Safe?
Same Mechanism as LED

The blue laser is isolatedly sealed inside the LEP module as an energy source. It excites the phosphor material to produce broadband, incoherent fluorescence, similar to the light emitted by LED.

To generate white light, no more than 10% of the blue light is absorbed by the phosphor and then emit again. This re-emitted blue light is incoherent and highly divergent, possessing none of the characteristics of laser light.

Automotive-Grade Eye Safty

Laser-excited phosphor technology has been adopted in automotive headlamps, with relevant safty certifications and road approval obtained. This demonstrates that laser-excited phosphor technology is inherently eye-safe in principle.
