Solutions and Precautions

Laser BurnoutFlashes and goes out immediately after power-on and burns outInstantaneous overvoltage/overcurrent

1. The drive scheme must ensure no overshoot at the moment of power-on, especially voltage overshoot. A voltage overshoot of 0.2V can cause a current overshoot of 0.5A

.2. The drive scheme shall be able to suppress ripples and avoid instantaneous output overshoot during us.

3. Poor contact of the line connection at the drive output terminal is very likely to cause voltage overshoot. Ensure good line connection, and direct wire welding is recommended.
Burns out and goes out during static use
Burns out and goes out during bumpy use
Fails to light up at all
Significant Brightness DropSignificant brightness drop during aging, but the fluorescent sheet is intactPoor heat dissipationAn external heat sink must be used to dissipate heat for the light source. The heat sink must be directly attached to the heat conduction surface of the light source without any padding in between. See "Heat Dissipation Requirements" for details.
Black spots at the light-emitting part of the fluorescent sheetInstantaneous overcurrentEvery product of BL-LIGHT has passed a 2-hour continuous lighting test before delivery. Aging tests prove that products passing the delivery test will not have fluorescent sheet burnout under normal drive use.
Emits very dim lightLaser burnoutSee the above description
Water mist inside the productWater ingressThis product is not waterproof by itself. Please be sure to design waterproofing for the entire light source.
Poor Light Spot

Blue or yellow ring around the light spot

Assembly out of toleranceThe assembly accuracy requirement for the distance from the lens to the light source is ±0.05mm, which is much higher than that of LED. The light source must be positioned using the positioning surface shown in the diagram. Assembly out of tolerance will cause obvious darkening of the light spot center and coloration around it.
Dark center and low luminous intensity of the light spot
Obvious dark spot at the light spot center and black spots at the light-emitting part of the fluorescent sheetInstantaneous overcurrentSee the above description
